The EvG-Archive is located in the old town of Innsbruck, right at the river Inn and only two minutes walking distance away from the town’s landmark, the golden roof. The archive is situated in the Claudiana, a historical building that owes its name to Claudia de Medici and was the domicile of the provincial government.
How to get there:
from the Innsbruck Airport: bus line F (direction Baggersee) to the stop Rathausgalerie
from the train station: bus line D (direction Hall) or E (direction Eichat) to the stop Marktplatz
bus line R (Rehgasse) or F (Flughafen) to the stop Rathausgalerie
tramway 3 to the stop Rathausgalerie
From these bus stops it’s only a short walk to the archive.
